Privacy Policy

RemoteFrames is an AI-assisted remote control service. This policy explains what we process to connect your devices and to carry out the tasks you give the AI assistant.

1. Data we collect

RemoteFrames does not require an account. We do not collect your name, email, or any personal identifier from you directly.

When the desktop host is installed it receives a 6-digit connection code. The code, an anonymous device identifier and connection requests (with the name of the requesting device) are stored in Google Firebase so your devices can find each other and the computer can approve connections.

If you subscribe via Lemon Squeezy, the license key you enter is stored locally in your browser (or app). We do not have a server-side database of subscribers — license validation happens directly between your device and Lemon Squeezy's API.

2. Data we do not collect

  • We do not store your screen. Screenshots pass through our relay only while a task runs or when you request one, and are not kept on our servers.
  • We do not log your keystrokes, mouse movements or the text of your tasks.
  • We do not store, transmit, or have access to passwords for any of your other services.
  • We do not require sign-in and do not maintain user accounts.

3. How the connection works

Your devices connect through our encrypted relay server. When you give the AI assistant a task, the task text and screenshots of the computer screen are sent to Anthropic’s Claude API, which decides the next mouse and keyboard actions. Each session is recorded as a video file that is stored only on the computer itself.

4. Third-party services

  • Infrastructure Providers — host our relay server and the connection data described above.
  • Lemon Squeezy — payment processor for premium subscriptions. We do not receive your payment details. Subject to Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy.
  • Google AdMob (mobile app only) — serves rewarded video ads when you opt in to watch one in exchange for a free hour of premium. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
  • Anthropic (Claude) — the AI model that carries out your tasks. It receives the task text and screenshots while a task runs. Subject to Anthropic’s privacy policy.
  • Google Firebase and Google Analytics — store connection codes, anonymous device identifiers and connection requests, and measure app usage. Subject to Google’s privacy policy.
  • Speech recognition — voice commands use the speech recognition built into your browser or phone (for example Google). The audio is handled by that provider; we only receive the resulting text.

5. Data retention

Connection codes, device records and connection requests are kept in Firebase while the computer uses RemoteFrames. Daily usage time is stored to apply the free limit. Screenshots and task texts are not stored on our servers. Session videos stay on the computer until its owner deletes them.

6. Your rights

Because we do not maintain accounts, there is no profile to delete. Locally stored data (license key, free-hour timestamps) can be cleared by removing site data in your browser or app. For subscription-related questions, contact us at hello@zalordigital.com.

7. Children

RemoteFrames is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used the service, please contact us so we can remove the data.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy materially changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users inside the app.
